Al Khaleej News: My Family, My Country.
(January 2024)

I was honored to be featured in the “My family, my country” section of Al Khaleej news alongside three inspiring women of the Kazim family who had made substantial contributions in the field of women’s healthcare in UAE. This article not only reflected professional dedication across generations, but also our commitment towards shaping the advancements in the field of medicine in our beloved country.
I extended my deepest gratitude to Al Khaleej newspaper for their thoughtful portrayal of the “Daughters of Kazim,” and to the wise leaders of the UAE for their unwavering support since the days of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. I was blessed to continue my journey, inspired by my aunt, Dr. Zainab Kazim – the pioneering force in women’s healthcare in the UAE even preceding its formation, and empowered by the groundbreaking work of my cousin and my sister – role models who had set towering standards in women’s health.
This recognition went beyond us four to all the daughters in the Kazim lineage who had chosen to become physicians – each carving out her legacy in healthcare through a relentless commitment to excellence. Their extraordinary work shone in the lives they touched every day.
